How can I teach my dog to not pull on the leash when we go for a walk? I have purchased a leash with the halter like straps that go around the head and neck but she fights it untill it is torn off.

How do I find a local dog trainer for out 1 year old Golden Retriever?

My dog in now 7 months old and she is a cross black lab. Inside the house she behaves quite well, but outside she is terrible. We can let her off the lead at the park when we are alone, but when she sees someone else or another dog, she runs and jumps on them and will not come back when we shout for her. Should we invest in training classes? Would it solve the problem? Or will she grow out of it?

We have 2 chinese crested dogs, age 18 and 7 months that are hard to housebreak. If we keep them confined in a small area, they are fine, but if they are free in the house they are not to be trusted. We have confined them for weeks (of course letting them out to play and be with us in the room) but they just don't get it! We take them out a LOT, praise and treat for appropriate voiding, and still they make mistakes. Neither of them shows any signs when they need to go out. Any suggestions?
